Q: What will you miss most about Stephanie? A: I met Stephanie 6 years ago when I became the Hospital Homebound teacher for her daughter, Ashyra. We worked together to give Ashyra the best school experience and help her grow academically and emotionally. Stephanie was the most ferocious "Mama Bear" for her children and made sure they had the best childhood experiences available. Stephanie and I had a friendship in addition to my being Ashyra's teacher. We would talk and laugh about things going on in our lives and how we could make the world a better place for our children. I will miss our conversations but will be working with Ashyra for a couple more years and help her understand what a wonderful caring mother she had.
