miss Mattie I will REALLY miss you. I remember the last thing you said to me was to come back and sit with the deaconess where I should be and I promised you that I would. But, I never did. Being stubborn and not obedient. Shame on me. Ms Mattie I will miss your turkey wings. You even offered to fix me some even though you may have not felt well. When I first came to St Thomas I was 19 years old and that was over 40 years ago but I still remeber how you welcomed me with open arms. I will never forget you but god has called home another angel and kind soul. Ms Mattie I will never forget you. May you rest in peace. Love you sis. Lang
