Words are often defined by the actions of people. So let me share with you the actions of my incredible Aunt Kat. From day one of being welcomed into the sturgis family I was shown no mercy or special privileges of being a new comer. She saw my Michael Jackson Afro took me months to grow as I was planning my breakout role of "Being Michael Jackson. In a blank of an eye it was gone. I was her little nephew which of course she never had one. So she was excited to give orders and be bossy. She laughed at the fact I cried every time the barber went deep into that massive cool fro. I was mad as all get out. But it forged an incredible bond between us that would last forever. Finally just months ago I said I could have been MJ and she laughed and 44 yrs later she said I'm sorry I cut your fro so lets bury the hatchet and never speak of this nonsense again. Cry baby I will miss everything about her laughter and incredible smile. Big Moma, Dad and you will have time to laugh and have conversation about everything. I'm going to miss you sooo much. going to go eat some salmon at your favorite Atlanta restaurant.

I will miss her honest, direct remarks and lovely smile, whenever we would met up on each of our Tours. I had the uptmost respect and love for her. You will be truly missed Kitty-Kat.. Thank You for the wonderful and powerful conversations. We would have over the many years at the break area in Secondary.
